Our client spotlight this week is Jessica! We asked Jessica the following questions about Flex Appeal.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗹?
When I first joined the gym, I wanted to get back to being consistent with strength training, and I needed a positive way to relieve stress. Since being at the gym, I have focused more on nutrition, and by making small changes in my diet, I have seen an increase in my overall strength and a decrease in body fat percentage.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 “𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹” 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝘆𝗺?
I genuinely love the programmed workouts, and since I typically only strength train twice a week, I very rarely have to force myself to go. If I’m not “feeling” it, I just focus on how much better I feel after completing each workout.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸/𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲?
As a busy career woman and mother, I have found that I feel more balanced when fitness is a priority in my life. Not only do I concentrate more on proper nutrition to fuel a physically active body, but I am able to relieve stress in a positive way while modeling healthy habits for my children. For years, I would go to the gym at 5:30 a.m. before my kids were awake because that was the only time I could schedule workouts into my life. I made it a priority but had to sacrifice sleeping in a little later. My advice for anyone who wants to prioritize fitness is to make small commitments and gradually build upon them.
